Applicant Declaration: In applying for enrolment with Bridge the Gap
Training and Assessment, I agree to abide by all its protocols, including
the code of conduct, as outlined below. I agree to maintain appropriate
behaviour during my enrolment. I understand that my enrolment can be
suspended or cancelled should I breach these protocols, engage in
inappropriate behaviour, or endanger others or myself.

 



 

TERMS OF REFERENCE

    Access and Equity Policy

    This is based on the following principles:

  • Providing and maintaining training services that reflect fair and reasonable opportunity, and consideration for all students and staff, regardless of race, colour, religion, gender or physical disability, regardless of the prevailing community values.
  • Equity for all people through the fair and appropriate allocation of resources and involvement in vocational education and training.
  • Equality of outcome within vocational education and training for all people without discrimination.
  • Access for all people to appropriate quality vocational education and training programs and services.
  • Increased opportunity for people to participate in vocational education and training and in relevant decision making processes within the vocational education and training system.

     
    Enrolment Fees and Refund Policy

    1. Course Booking Deposit

  • A non-refundable course booking deposit of $200.00 is payable with a completed enrolment form for any course offered by Bridge The Gap Training and Assessment. This will secure a place in the nominated training course.
  • The remaining balance of the course fees is payable in advance and 14 days prior to the commencement of the nominated course.
  • All monies received are placed in a separate account and are not accessed until the course starts. When courses are longer than one day, a proportion of fees paid for that course will remain in that account until the course is completed, to ensure pro-rata refunds for eligible applicants.

    2. Refund of any Course Fees

  • If an applicant cancels an enrolment to any course more than 14 days prior to the course commencing is entitled to a full refund of monies paid. (Except for the $200.00 non-refundable deposit).
  • If an applicant cancels an enrolment to any course within 14days of the course commencing is entitled to a 50% refund of monies paid. (Except for the $200.00 non-refundable deposit).

     
    General Cancellation Policy

  • Substitution
    If, after booking an event you are unable to attend, you are welcome to nominate someone else to attend in your place at no additional cost (please advise us of any special needs or requirement). Please advise substitution in writing, so that a correct name tag will be available that the registration desk.

  • Refunds
    Cancellation of more than 30 days before the event: 100% refund
    Cancellation of less than 30 days, but more than 14 days: 90% refund
    Cancellation of less than 14 days, but more than 7 days: 50% refund
    Cancellation of less than 7 days: no refund

    All cancellations must be advised in writing; the effect date is the date of despatch.

     
    Privacy Policy

  • All information collected by Bridge The Gap Training and Assessment about our clients, students or trainees is used only for the purpose of maintaining accurate and complete training records for 30 years in accordance with our commitments as a Registered Training Organisation and providing an efficient training and re-accreditation service for all clients.
  • Information provided to Bridge The Gap Training and Assessment will only be used in course administration and provided to training staff.
  • To allow students the opportunity of advancing their careers Bridge The Gap Training and Assessment may contact students at various times advising of upcoming course opportunities.
  • Information collected by Bridge The Gap Training and Assessment will be made available for personal perusal by the student or client on written request.
  • Any student or client who does not wish to receive information may be removed from any list on request.
  • To assist students in obtaining employment, we may, from time to time, provide student telephone numbers to other companies who are seeking competent staff. If you do not wish us to provide this information please advise our office for your name removal.
  • With the exception of the disclosure of telephone numbers mentioned above no additional information will be made available to any other party without the written consent of the individual student concerned.
 
CODE OF CONDUCT

The Code of Conduct requires that a client, student or trainee must:

  • behave honestly and with integrity within Bridge The Gap training course;
  • act with care and diligence in the training course;
  • treat everyone with respect and courtesy, and without harassment;
  • comply with all applicable Australian laws;
  • maintain appropriate confidentiality and respect other students within the course;
  • not provide false or misleading information in response to a request for information that is made for training purposes and information required in completion of a course;
  • at all times behave in a way that upholds general values and integrity;
  • whilst in attendance of Bridge The Gap training course, at all times behave in a way which is professional and courteous to both staff and fellow students.
